Located in the heart of Essex on the outskirts Wickham Bishops, Prances offers a wide range of activities both on and off site. We are suitable for both large and small groups with a large camping field, a number of smaller ‘Patrol Camping Areas’ and residential accommodation.

We provide facilities to Scouts, Guides, Youth Clubs, Schools, Colleges, and any other Youth Organisations. 

Prances is owned and maintained by Maldon and East Essex District Scout Council and is staffed entirely by a volunteer work force.
